Favorites of the French Brasserie

description

I first fell in love with French food in Charleston, South Carolina, after working in one of the most popular restaurants at the time, 39 Rue de Jean. It was in this adorable traditional brasserie that I got to enjoy the wonderful food of a traditional French brasserie. I became passionate about foods like French onion soup, beef tartare, salad lyonnaise, salmon with Bernaise sauce, Moules et frites, and several others. Later, I went on to study the culinary arts at the French Culinary Institute where I got a chance to study the cuisine in great depth. Now, I would like to share my knowledge and techniques that will help you make wonderful French food at home.

If you are afraid of butter, bacon, heavy cream and red wine, then you should look into what is known as the "French Paradox".
